Those interested in personalized camps and hunts must complete The Black River Outdoors Hunting and Shooting Sports Education Course consisting of three single day sessions or one 3 day camp. These are educational camps on our properties in Northeast Michigan. Regardless of current skill level, Black River Outdoors can help you reach your goals.
Those who have completed the Black River Outdoors Hunting and Shooting Sports Education Course will be eligible for hunts

BLACK RIVER ORIENTATION CAMP
Private Session (4 Hours) $200, Group Session (4 Hours, Up To 4 Participants) $400
The Black River Orientation Camp is a great way to find out what the Black River Experience is all about. A thorough introduction to our program, philosophy, gear, and equipment. This is a structured educational experience that is the first of our Black River Outdoors Hunting and Shooting Sports Education Course.
Those who have completed the Black River Outdoors Orientation Camp will be eligible for the Black River Shooting Camp.

BLACK RIVER HUNTER'S CHALLENGE CAMP
Private Session (4 Hours) $200, Group Session (4 Hours, Up To 4 Participants) $400
The third and final camp of the Black River Outdoors Hunting and Shooting Sports Education Course. The Black River Hunter's Challenge Camp puts your hunting and shooting skills to the test on our practical application shooting course. Inspired by PRS style competition, the Hunter's Challenge Course puts you on stand shooting steel targets in real world hunting scenarios. Building on the knowledge gained in the previous camps, this is a structured educational experience that concludes our Black River Outdoors Hunting and Shooting Sports Education Course.
You will learn, train, and shoot with a custom precision rifle from Conflux Armory, a customized Tikka T1x .22lr, and a Mission Sub 1 XR crossbow.
Those who have completed the Black River Outdoors Hunter's Challenge Camp will receive a certificate of completion of the Black River Hunting and Shooting Sports Education Course and will be eligible for hunts and personalized camps at Black River Outdoors.

BLACK RIVER Hunting and Shooting Sports 3 Day Camp
Private Camp (3 days, 2 nights, 1 or 2 participants) $1,200, Group Camp (3 days, 2 nights, up to 4 participants) $1,600
Make it a 3 day camp and complete the Black River Outdoors Hunting and Shooting Sports Education Course in one visit. You get 3 days of instruction and camping, and 2 nights lodging in our wall tents. Meals, snacks, and beverages included.
Those who have completed the Black River Outdoors Hunting and Shooting Sports 3 Day Camp will receive a certificate of completion of the Black River Hunting and Shooting Sports Education Course and will be eligible for hunts and personalized camps at Black River Outdoors.
