 I'm Matthew Hein, Owner, Operator, and Educator at Black River Outdoors.   With 35 years of hunting and shooting sports experience as a competitor and coach, and a 20 year professional career in project and construction management, I have the knowledge and skills to help you reach your goals.

 I run Black River Outdoors with the support of my wonderful wife and avid outdoors woman, Kiley.  She enjoys hunting, fishing, target shooting and the outdoor lifestyle.  Together, we make a great team.
